FyreWrap’s core material is highly engineered & lightweight with high temperaure &
thermal insulation material “Insulfrax” which is made from calcia, magnesium & silica chesmistry
designed to w=enhance Bio-Solubility.

FyreWrap’s Aluminium Foil, Fibreglass reinforced Scrim completely encapsulates the core providing
additional handling strength, protection from tearing and most importantly provides high resistence to
Mould Growth.  It has had extensive testing to ensure that it meets the highest quality in terms of
the impact on Environmental Health, it’s completely Bio-Soluable and has been Green-guard listed for
Microbial (Mould Growth)

a). For Ducting less than 600x600mm, a 19mm wide
0.4mm Steel Band is used to permanently support FyreWrap around the duct, the steel band is placed 40mm from the edge of FyreWrap, over the overlaps and
one additional band between the overlaps at 265mm centres.

b). For Ducting greater than 600x600mm but less
than 1200x1200mm, the banding system described in a). is used in conjunction with either Pre-welded Pins/Cup-head style pins (WELD-ONs or Rib Pins) along
the bottom of the duct at 200mm apart.

c). For Ducting greater than 1200x1200mm, either
Pre-welded Pins/Cup-head Pins (WELD-ONs) must be used on all 4 sides of ducting at 200mm apart
