Threaded Rod is used to securely fasten two items together when a longer, more rigid fastener is needed, like in construction to support or suspend items from ceilings and walls, such as pipes, cables, or ductwork, due to its extended length and ability to be tightened with nuts.
In NZ M10 Threaded Rod is commonly used in common HVAC Applications.
Threaded Rod is available as a stocked line in 8mm, 10mm, 12mm in typically 1m or 2m lengths depending on the finish. Finishes are Zinc Plated, Galvanised & Stainless Steel.
